"Kristian, the host, greeted me warmly as I was walking up the alley. He quickly grabbed my bag (which was very heavy) and proceeded to walk me to my room. He then led me upstairs to their rooftop patio and pulled out a paper tourist map and showed me all the sights and transportation options. I was only staying one night as I was joining a boat the next day so I didn’t have time to explore as much as I would’ve liked. The next morning was very windy and pouring down rain so I texted Kristian, this was Sunday morning at 7:40am, to arrange a taxi. He was not on the island at the time but he responded promptly and arranged the taxi for me. He also told me that if he’d been in Procida he would’ve driven me to the marina himself. Kristian was very kind, spoke English very well and was super helpful. I will definitely stay at DC House again should I go back to Procida. I highly recommend this place. "

The only thing to note is that parking can be a bit tricky if you’re not used to European-style tight spaces. For me, it wasn’t a real issue since this is quite common in Europe, but travelers coming from places with wide-open parking lots might find it challenging at first. The breakfast buffet had many tasty options and we thoroughly enjoyed a delicious dinner at the on premises restaurant, located under a beautiful lemon grove. The property is walkable to the marina. We thoroughly recommend La Casa del Faro. "

"An interesting residence with a great host. Free parking off the street which might be tight at times but is a definite plus in a town like Monte di Procida. Air conditioner in our room worked extremely well. We had a room with two beds for our three person group and was very comfortable. Included a large couch as well"
