"We stayed for a night for my birthday and my father in laws birthday and we spent the afternoon in front of the fire which was so cosy and relaxing. We then had dinner and had the famous ribs…we were all blown away by the quantity and quality of meat. The staff were incredibly friendly! The room we stayed in was huge and comfortable. Definitely will be returning! A fabulous stay. "

"Great service from the time we arrived, till the day we left. The room was fantastic and we were presented with a welcoming G&T each! Eat in the excellent restaurant on our first night and had a late lunch the following day. Must say the food is excellent "

"Hotel a bit rickety and old fashioned. Shower and toilet facilities a bit tight but at least the room had them. Good wholesome & plentyful. Fabulous open Mike night with eclectic selection of musicians and music. Fabulous .😂 Jemma did great job of cleaning."

"I was meet by friendly staff. The room was very clean , and cleaned each day to a high standard. I ate there each next ( 3 night ) the food was at a wonderful standard, the breakfast was at a very high standard too. Lovely place TY room 6"

"Great customer service. Offer of fresh milk in the room. Complimentary bottle of water in the room. Offered to stay late if I couldn’t get there before 10pm. Offered to carry case up to the room. Highly recommend."

"The Lea gate Inn was an extremely comfortable stay, beds superb. Food fabulous , breakfasts too. Great location for getting to East Kirby, just over 10mins. Staff all really friendly Dog friendly. "

"I will definitely be back at the Red Lion when I’m next in the area, it’s a lovely pub and the rooms which are located just across the car park are excellent. They’re clean, comfy and small touches like crisps and biscuits top off a lovely place. The hosts are very nice and they’re very welcoming within the pub aswell which serves outstanding food. "

"Wonderful one night stay as part of exploring Rutland Water and area over a weekend. Worth staying here for the fabulous food alone (amazing menu and incredibe service). Room was large, clean and comfortable. Lovely peninsula walk (5.5 or 7 mile options) right on the doorstep and a short drive to two nature / bird reserves. Would recommend and we will hopefully be back."

"Excellent quiet location and good size rooms with everything you need. Very clean. Comfy beds and loved seeing the birds and wildlife too. Could really have done with freezer/ice box in fridges due to wanting to freeze our cool packs for picnics. Tv was too small. Overall we would stay again. "

"As far as the stay I honestly couldn’t fault it my bed was super comfy I stayed in the queen suite with shared bathroom it was spotless and warm too Helen had the radiators on and an electric blanket in the bed which was much welcomed as I stayed mid- January. If you do stay in this room just switch the blanket on and wait an hour you might not be able to feel it to the touch but once you get into bed you’ll feel it. There was plenty of tea & coffee plus nice little touches like water chocolate...

"Loved staying here, it was a different experience to staying at a hotel, it was cosy and comfortable. Had a lovely patio area outside where we sat every morning with a cuppa tea, at night we enjoyed sitting under stars while watching films on our laptop. It was dog friendly and our cocker spaniel absolutely loved the stay, lots of beautiful walks around the site, people to meet and it’s less than 20 mins to Skegness for the beach. The hosts was so friendly and made us feel at home, we really...
