The easy 3/4 mile circle loop trail at Pipestone National Monument winds along the face of the Sioux Quartzite cliffs. The Monument is an incredible place. The historical and spiritual significance of the site is palpable. A place of deep reverence and peace. Visit when the sun is low in the west, lighting up the quartzite cliffs as they rise from the vast golden prairie surrounding them.

This place has easily become one of my favorite places I’ve ever stayed. It’s in a wonderful spot only near minutes from plenty of great restaurants like Happy Chef for people that like to sit and eat at breakfast time."
