"Motel6, founded in 1962. The name came from the rates being $6 a night and 6% sale tax. A no frills motel. They have come a long way. Our stay was Wonderful. Friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, walk in shower, love the soft close toilet seats and the music in the halls. The rates are still very good. No pool or hotub, but half the time hotubs are out of order and the pools are so busy or the water is too cold. We loved it here and will return."

Between that and our unflushed, unclean toilet when we arrived, it was disappointing. On the positive side the common areas were clean, the breakfast was good and the staff we met was very nice. "
