"If you’re going to a baseball game or somewhere downtown, I highly recommend this hotel. It’s super easy to navigate getting back. So many movies were filmed here so it’s kind of fun to experience. They give you a few more perks compared to other hotels when you check in like the beverage credit some spa credit and different things instead of just 1. The staff and attitudes in the restaurants and cafes could be a lot better, but it’s LA and part of the culture. I also called for bell service and they told me that they didn’t do bell service and I was like OK… and then he called back and said I’m sorry I was just really busy so I didn’t appreciate being lied to you, but I’m glad that he apologized"

"We stayed 3 nights 4 days. I probably stay at this hotel 4-5 annually. On the third night I walked into my room and it smelled like sewage. Immediately contacted the front desk. They did an AMAZING job getting me into another room close by. My room also did not have hot water the first 2 nights."

"This was a couple day tourist trip for us and the location was outstanding. And paying the few bucks to get a bay view balcony was worth it for relaxing after getting back to the room at the end of the day. There's a few great restaurants on site or across the street, right on the bay, which we preferred over the chaos in the Gas Lamp district. And a deli for coffee, a quick breakfast, snacks, wine, etc right in front of building 3 on the street for any conveniences you might desire. It's only 5+ minutes from the airport and the hotel has a shuttle. We didn't know this and the "convenient" taxi gouged us. Overall, it's a really good value hotel for a great experience. It will be your own fault if you can't enjoy it."

"A really nice location an excellent hotel. The food was a bit expensive but actually quite good. A very nice pool but unfortunately no Jacuzzi or whirlpool I would give it a 9.3 on a scale of 10 staff was helpful and generally friendly."
