Not only was the location perfect, The staff were friendly knowledgeable and helpful. Their attitude was relaxed but make no mistake everything about this hotel is excellent. The rooms are comfortable and the bathroom is almost like an amazing suite in and of itself. I have never seen a shower room bigger than this outside a spa.

I booked this hotel simply because it was the only 5 star in San Sebastian, which was close to Mugaritz Restaurant, where I had booked a lunch surprise for my husbands birthday. The hotel, and indeed San Sebastian, turned out to be the stars of the trip. Mugaritz was lovely but this hotel is absolutely one of the best we have ever stayed in. Fabulous hotel for visiting the Guggenheim but also walkable to all areas of Bilbao. Breakfast is perfect, everything you could want and more. Ate in the restaurant one evening and the food is superb and good value for a 5* hotel restaurant. Finally the staff are all friendly and helpful. All together a great stay.

This was a truly beautiful location and staff could not do enough for you. They were all very friendly and proud of where they worked. The attached winery and tour was a delight!

Everything was perfect. The welcome, the arranging of transfers, the rooftop bar, the service. The room was incredible. Comfortable, superb beds, fridge, Aircon, view, bathroom (especially the toilet!). Location couldn't be better. It was a festival on our last night but the hotel thoughtfully provided ear plugs. The soundproofing of the windows was excellent anyway. A pinnacle of hotel experiences.

Excellent location. Rooms are spotless. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Food was great.

Nothing was too much trouble. The staff were so special. We had originally wanted to stay at the Mary Cristina which was full. However, when we return to San Sebastián we will go back to Villa Soro. Breakfast was a delight of locally sourced produce, and no eyebrows were raised when we came down to breakfast after 11am! A lovely bathroom and very comfortable bed, what more could you ask for - thank you.

Absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. Amazing location, superb staff, one of the best breakfast selections (and quality) we have had anywhere, loved that it’s a la carte and made to order. Room very comfortable with a great shower and nice amenities. We will be back for sure!

A veey pleasant hotel. Centrally placed and useful for Guggenheim and city parks. Room was clean and quiet

I cannot rate this hotel and it’s staff highly enough. We visited in the middle of July just after Covid 19 restrictions were lifted. We drove from A Coruna and arrived after midnight. We booked one double room for myself, husband and small dog and a second for our 25 year old daughter. We received the most warm welcome despite the late hour and this continued throughout our stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff had to work within the very tight restrictions required to operate...

Beautiful hotel close to the city

Excellent extremely modern and comfortable hotel situated in open countryside wothin a 20 minute walk from historical centre, tapas bars etc.. Free underground parking. Wonderful breakfast. Very highly recommended.

Clean modern hotel with parking on the street outside for €4 for 24hrs. Great position for walking into the city

Great hotel in wonderful pristine condition. Spotlessly clean. Good, powerful shower in a large marble bathroom. Each room is dedicated to a particular figure in the movie industry. Pleasant and efficient staff. We lunched at the restaurant, which was extremely good and at a reasonable price. The hotel is located adjacent to bus stops which are frequent and take you conveniently to the old town and theme park.
