"Kudos to the Publick House and its staff. Great two night getaway. Lodging at Chamberlin House was perfect as was our meals at both the Tavern and Taproom. Spent an afternoon at the Yankee Candle Village in South Deerfield. Also, enjoyed the complimentary cofffee and goodies at the PH Bake Shop"

"This property has not been updated in a long time. This had to be amazing in its day. Geese are all over and poop in the water so we couldn’t swim in the lake. There’s a fee for the fire pit. No food or drinks due to lack of staff. No coffee or microwave in room, no hot tub. But… great staff, pool great, nice on first floor facing lake (chairs provided to sit outside, upgraded for free, price was very reasonable for we got, clean room, bed ok, excellent food locations nearby. We would stay again over night. "
