"The rooms were not clean, tile missing on the bathroom floors. The kitchen area had roaches. One bed was broken and could not be used. The microwave would not work. When we tried to reach out to staff, no workers were available and the phone number taped to the front desk led to a voicemail that was not set up. This was the WORST hotel we have ever stayed at. There was zero customer service. Not even an employee to assist us. And at that, we were not given a different room or option to cancel and go to a different hotel. Because there were NO staff anywhere to be found. "

"Marriott had an easy check in process. We were in our room within minutes. The room was very clean, pillows and mattress were great. I had an awesome sleep! "

"The hotel is undergoing renovation but should honestly be closed and gutted. It is in extremely poor shape. It is generally not just in disrepair but the common areas are dirty. The pool is just off the lobby and the door is kept open. When you enter the hotel, no handicap or automatic door, you are greeted by high humidity and strong chlorine. The pool door is across from the elevator. The door is rusty and the paint bubbled up. The breakfast area has a huge roll of carpeting. The third floor hallway is plywood only. The carpet that is on the first and second floor is threadbare. The sheets we clean and bed comfortable but the ceiling light did not work and one lamp was broken. The in room coffee maker also did not work. Bathroom was cleanish but extremely worn. There was black mold on the curtains and in the ac vent. Shower water was tepid on highest setting. The elevator shudders going up and down and is dirty and run down. No posting of last inspection. Breakfast was sparce. The workers sat chatting and eating for quite a while, I've never experienced employees in the guest areas of other hotels. Location is fantastic which is what makes the rest a shame."
