This is one of the most special places I have ever visited. The location was just beautiful and going to sleep and waking up to the sounds of the Pacific (and monkeys playing in the trees outside the cabin!) was amazing. The food was fantastic and extremely plentiful - you definitely won't go hungry here! Aguila del Osa is a dream hotel with wonderful views from the bedroom and main lobby/restaurant. The hotel gardens are beautiful and we saw many birds including hummimg birds right outside our room. There is a nice walk around the hotel and you can also take a trail into the rainforest and the nearby Cocalito Beach, All the staff speak excellent english and are very friendly and provide excellent service. The room was incredible. The amenities within the room and the comfort were excellent. The staff were extremely helpful and couldn’t do enough for you especially in booking tours and local restaurants. The food was amazing and offered a good selection. All in all our stay was perfect. Hi This place is great lots of birds at tree level and the his and hers showers are a nice touch. It's quite a walk up to some of the rooms so bear that in mind. The hotel restaurant is good and is also close to another new restaurant on the beach. The breakfast was great and the hosts were good. One the nicer places in drake bay but also slightly expensive, I will also mention the mosquito grills on the vents did let small flies in but I was at the start of the rainy season too. We stayed one night the views were amazing and the hummingbirds at the feeders were incredible to watch along with all the other birds around the hotel. The food was also very good we had breakfast and an evening meal. The rooms were lovely all wood inside like a log cabin.
