"Our stay there was great. We went to Vegas for a wedding and picked La Quinta because we wanted a quieter hotel away from the crowds of the strip and because it was completely non-smoking. It was great, a very peaceful stay. The pool was never packed. The free breakfast bar is from 6:30 am to 9:30 am which is plenty of time to either sleep in, or eat before an earlier outing. It consisted of fruit, eggs and sausage patties, oatmeals, cereals, yogurt, waffle makers, bagels and toast. Drinks were juices, coffee, or tea. Too light for my carnivore husband but great for me who likes a lighter filling breakfast. The shuttle is very convenient. Its a free airport shuttle the hotel provides. You get to the airport and call the hotel and request the pickup when you are ready for it. Otherwise I believe it runs on a loop every half hour. A nice extra is if they have the space in the van, theyll stop at two other spots on their route, at the walmart shopping center nearby or at a bus station that connects to the strip. We took it to walmart for some supplies, the driver dropped us off on her way to the airport. I called when we were done and she picked us up again on her next loop to the airport. The distances arent far so its an easy ride. Saved us some rideshare money and all the drivers were super nice and helpful. Check in and check out can be done in person or online now, but the key cards you have to get at the front desk. And the hotel has a tiny convenience store. It was great!"

"Nice resort, great amenities, friendly & helpful staff, the 2br/2ba unit I shared with my senior mom was great. A kitchen with all the tools you need to cook a meal. With plenty of space and tvs in each bedroom you can have some independence while traveling with others. Our balcony was spacious and a great place for morning coffee. Two random issues though…the bathtubs are gigantic! It’s like they were gonna be jacuzzi tubs but never quite were. The tub wall to climb in is pretty high. I’m 5’7” and the tub came to mid-thigh on me! Opt for an ADA room if traveling with elderly or limited mobility guests as it isn’t an easy step-in shower/tub combo. Also, our kitchen/dining areas especially, just had a smell like someone pan fried hamburgers or something meaty in the kitchen. We stayed 4-nights and the smell never dissipated. (Of course that is a room specific complaint, but it did slightly influence my rating.) Otherwise the place was clean, roomy & comfortable retreat from the busy Strip. Ample free parking was a perk, as parking at casinos on the strip was $25-35/day! There is a major grocery store across the street and many food options—fast food to fancy dinners—within walking distance or easy drives. Additionally there is a restaurant a site with a thorough menu (altho we didn’t eat at it). Security opens the arm to enter the property and a roaming security guard makes the peaceful resort feel even safer. I would stay here again, especially when traveling with others."
