"We checked in around 5:45pm and the or I was was quick and smooth. Then we went back after watching the sunset, we had to wait 20 mins for the doorbell person to take care of luggage. Additionally at the front desk, they can’t charge cash - I was hoping to tip staff but could not. "

"This hotel was great! It is close to death valley with a lot less traffic. The only bummer was the pool and hot tub are at another hotel, just on the other side of the gas station which is between the 2 properties, and they are outside. A bit chilly when it is 54 in the am. The front desk was very friendly. We could not hear the traffic which is right outside the door, great sleeping. Have 2 pots of coffee going, we had to wait both days. But we would stay here again in a heartbeat!! The VFW has great food!!"

"Property is a bit dated but is clean enough. AC is a bit loud. Hot breakfast with waffle maker is great. The gentlemen at dining hall, Bob, is wonderful and very attentive. "

"Absolutely filthy room. Zero amenities. Had a very old coffee machine and cups were filthy and no condiments. We spilled some water on the bathroom floor and when we cleaned it up the paper was black from all the dirt. Had a bug on my pillow (Caterpiller) harmless but gross. The guy that checked us in was condescending and down right rude. Our room was the last building (940) felt very unsafe. The bathroom tiles were missing grout which cut our feet and the bedroom floor looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in years. All furniture was cracked and dirty. And our sliding door was unlocked which felt creepy and unsafe. At $400/night, I expect something better. A Super 8 motel would have been an upgrade! Step it up Xanterra! Before you lose more guests. "

"Very poor property, not a resort or hotel. It’s a motel. Rooms stink, especially bathrooms of cannabis, smoke, mold. Reception and casino areas stink as well. Pool closed for a long time. "
