I let the property know I would be arriving late to check in. When I go to check in, the front desk person tells me that only their rewards plus members are allowed to stay there and I’m to go next door to Fairfield Inn, with the same amenities etc. The front desk there did not seem happy to check me in that night. At this point I just wanted to get ready for bed. So, I wake up and my daughter goes down the hotel lobby and there is no breakfast available. I was disappointed again because I booked a room specifically to have breakfast included since we had her college day that morning and would not have a lot of time to go find breakfast. I proceeded to find the coffee maker in my room and there was water already in the coffee maker...that’s gross!!! I get my glasses on because I didn’t believe there was water in the coffee maker but there was. Then to make the start of our early morning worse, I find ants all over the counter next to the tv near my belongings! My head was itching just watching the ants crawl all over, so I go outside to calm down. I call my daughter to check in on her. She tells me Starbucks has a long line, so she drives to Dunkin Donuts. She then screams that an ant was on her leg while driving...a small ant on her leg? I send her the video of the ants from our hotel and the one on her leg looks pretty darn similar....ugghhh! I just wanted to leave. I tell the front desk and they fix nothing. The lady stared at the guy behind her and did nothing.
