I am hiking a section of the Te Araroa trail from Auckland to Hamilton and came across Heavens Rest as a logistical stop. I stayed in a 1 bedroom cottage and couldn’t have been more impressed with the tranquility after a long hike, comfy bed and fridge filled with juice, fresh milk, eggs, bread and yogurt. Robert even drove me back to the trail in the morning - highly recommend

Excellent stay. The hotel was superb. The room was clean, the wireless charges on the bedside tables were a great idea. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and attentive. The breakfast was lovely too. The only one issue I had is that I had to pay extra for a decaf coffee with my breakfast. It should be free.

Shuttle to airport comes to the hotel door roughly every 30 mins and takes 50 mins as this is the first pickup. Hotel very clean and staff very friendly and helpful. We had a meal in the restaurant and quality was high. Would stay here again

All I needed was there. The staff were helpful and the ride to the airport relatively quick. Its not posh but clean, the bed is comfortable, tea, coffee and a few snacks were provided. Microwave, car parking and the gates were secured at night. Thank you .

The property was basic, but I was very pleased with what I got for the price. It was very clean, with lovely crisp clean linen (always my main concern). Shuttle to airport was $10 and left on time (beware they only run every couple of hours early morning at least - not sure how regular they are during the day). My room even had a little balcony. Would definitely stay there again.

A wonderful apartment complex. A small number of apartments, modern, very clean, well equipped & in close proximity to the gorgeous beach. The gardens are very pretty & well maintained. There are 3 good restaurants & a coffee shop/bakery within a short walk.

I had an excellent stay at Radisson RED Auckland. The hotel was modern, clean, and in a great location. What made the experience outstanding was the staff—every single team member was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. Their warm hospitality made me feel welcome from check-in to check-out. A great hotel in a great location = high price! Breakfast alone will set you back $45/day, but if you're smart about the package you book it's a little bit of luxury in walking distance to Auckland City centre.
