"The Maison de Tari is a perfect place to stay for families looking to explore the area around Sarlat. We stayed in a family room with three small children and it suited us perfectly. All rooms had a separate outside sitting area with a large table. It had a good sized pool, a separate communal cooking and dining area, including a gas BBQ and a fridge. A great continental breakfast was provided that included fresh pastries from the local bakery, and a selection of local jams, cheeses and meats....

"This property exceeded all of our expectations. We arrived early and were allowed to check in without any fuss and were shown to a wonderful room (No 1) with a stunning view of the river. We had lunch in the restaurant and while I went to watch the Tour de France, my wife relaxed in the room and walked the dog by the river. The pool was a welcome relief after a hot day and dinner on the terrace was superb. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, it was just perfect. It was a shame we only...
