The apartment was really very nice. It was clean, spacious and bright. It's about as well placed for local amenities as you're likely to get in Rye. There were numerous restaurants, bars and cafes within a few minutes walk. I would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in the locality. My only dislike was the car parking can feel quite tight when it's busy as it is underneath the building

However - only negative point - the service was *excellent* by the staff - I cannot fault the effort by the people working there ...
