We had a wonderful stay at Sofia Balkan. The hotel is conveniently located next to Serdika metro station. Most location attractions are within walking distance. The rooms are clean and modern. The shower temperature could be a bit hotter and it’s strange there’s no hair dryer in the room. Would recommend this hotel.

Beautiful

Beautiful hotel in a great, central location. The bed was very comfortable. Suggestion would be to remove the safe from the bathroom which was already a very small room, it made it uncomfortable to be in the bathroom

A hotel that tries to be top notch, but doesn’t quite make it. Great service minded staff that helped without hesitation. The hotel is quite dated and the panels to regulate lighting and temperature are quite confusing. The phone in my room also didn’t work.

The room was very comfortable and all the staff were great. It was very disappointing that many facilities were unavailable! It was also disappointing that you only provided us with two coffee pods, only provided powdered milk in the room, and didn't offer new bottles of water each day

The availability of food at the bar was very limited by time and of very average quality, the reception staff were very offhand and fairly unhelpful. The bar staff were very friendly and apologetic, the problem would appear to be with the management. A great location and building, the plug in the bathroom sink had to be kept closed otherwise the smell in the room was disgusting.
