"We had a wonderful stay at Amber Design Residence. It is well located within easy walking distance of the main square, the Castle, public transport and restaurants yet in a quiet location. The rooms were clean, spacious and well equipped with all that we needed for our stay, and the beds were comfortable. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is not served at the hotel but is available at a lovely cafe a short distance away. "

"Great hotel right in the heart of everything. We were a 2 minute walk to the main square, with shops, restaurants, cafes and sight seeing abundant to the max. Would def stay here again"

"There was no hot water, The water was timid at best. Had to let shower run a while at a lower pressure to get it mildly warm to take shower. The shower temperature controller came off in my hand, It wasn’t securely fixed"

"I booked this hotel on the basis of it being slightly out of the centre and therefore quieter. However I had the worst night sleep of my life as there was an all night rave going on in the hotel (an organised event!) and I was on the first floor above it. The bed was literally vibrating from the bass and when I phoned down at 3.16am I was told by reception ‘there is noting we can do’. Awful, not what I expect from Hyatt."

"Clean, comfortable bed. Staff were friendly and helpful with the need for extra pillows. We didn’t have breakfast but you can pay for it if you wish. Only issue was the lighting panel was on the headboard and it kept waking us up when one of us moved in the night and only way to stop this was to take the key card out the wall meaning no power, was a little frustrating. Prefect location for the train station though and easy access to shops, would definitely recommend if your on a budget and we would stay again. "

"Finding the reception is very difficult, at one point there was 12 people trying to find reception. We then found it was an appartment on level 2 at the end of a corridor. We went to our appartment that was booked for 5 people to find a double bed and a sofa bed. As apparently it was our choice to have an extra bed and not have 3 people sharing a small sofa bed we had to pay for an extra bed. When it arrived it was on wheels that did not lock, had hard wooden slats and a mattress that was so thin all you could feel was the slats. The sofa bed was hard and had dips where every cushion met. I sent a message to reception to be told that no one had complained about this and thank you for the feedback. I have since seen similar reviews. I also noticed on our last day that the duvets had lots of stains on them, not nice stains. Had I seen this before I would have had them changed. I was thankful it was when we was packing to leave. The appartment was clean, spacious and had everything we needed for the stay, the balcony was nice although it only had 2 chairs and 1 was broken but we was only staying for a few days and weather was not warm enough at times to sit out there. I would have been disappointed had it been summer. "
