"The Sleep Inn of Clarion is our go-to place to stay on our trips east. Being right next to I-80 makes it very convenient. It is always clean & well-kept and staff are always friendly & helpful. The hotel has undergone extensive renovations - flooring, bedding, TV’s & bathrooms are all new. "The staff was amazing. This hotel is in DIRE need of some love. Rooms are old and falling apart. I booked a room “with a fridge” only to arrive and find my room did not have one. I had medication that needs refrigeration . I was switched to a new room, but it smelled so bad I couldn’t stay. Moved back to original room and just used ice overnight to keep my medication cold. If I wasn’t in the middle of a 2000 mile trip and exhausted, I would have found a new room. "

"This was a gem! We booked it last minute for the eclipse. I did not expect an entire apartment for the price I paid! 10/10 great room, comfy bed (that's a lot coming from an insomniac) kid and parent approved breakfast, nice communal space and well Located. Room was clean but needed TLC , the floors were nice with vinyl hardwood so that was a plus( I don’t like carpet in hotels!), most areas were in process of some type of either demolition or construction ( really couldn’t tell) it was non smoking but smelled of smoke in the halls, which wafted into our room.
