"The fortina was just the best, the staff on arrival were the best, informative, polite, courteous and couldn't do enough, the room was fabulous with an amazing view across the harbour to Valletta, the food was amazing, if I was to have any negative points it would be for the hotel not to advertise that it has an out door pool....it doesn't, it has a very small share in an out door pool, that you have to book a slot at the day before. But when you get to the pool you are told which beds you can have, no sea views, all at the back etc. priority is given to people not staying at the hotel for a premium 50euros per lounger"

"4 star hotel in Sliema, Malta. Quiet area. Lovely air conditioned, big room with balcony. Roof to pool. Sister hotel to the 5 star Palace Hotel which was accessible via a passageway on first floor. 10 minutes walk to sea front and ferry to Valletta. 15 mins walk to the bustling St. Julian's and The Point Shopping Mall. Lovely variety of breakfast - hot and cold food. Would definitely come back to this hotel. "

"We loved the location of the property, walking distance from the fond gadir and many restaurants which made it easy. The room was nice and bathroom also good. The only thing I would mention is that the balcony handrail was not secure."

"The Diplomat Hotel has rooms which overlook the mediterranean sea. They are clean, comfortable with excellent facilities. Breakfast is of the highest quality and excellent choice of dishes. Staff are friendly and helpful. I had an enjoyable stay and can highly recommend it. "
