"Great location behind the cathedral.The room and bathroom were clean and quiet. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast choice was great and even though it was buffet/help yourself the quality of the food was good. The room itself was a bit shabby around the edges. There were stains on the carpet and the furniture was scratched and outdated. Whilst the bathroom looked like it had recently been retiled the taps and shower head were covered in what I guess was limescale.The remote control for the television was filthy. The building itself was very 1960's and I found it a bit strange that reception was round the side in the basement. Overall OK for a 2 night stay. I chose this hotel as I needed to be near the hospital as visiting a sick relative."

"There was a good buffet breakfast. All the staff were polite and courteous. The room, with a window to the side, gave a view of the cathedral to one side and a view of the marina to the other side. The room was modern and comfortable. The hotel is very close to everything. We will stay again."

"We were running the Boston half marathon and unfortunately we had to leave before breakfast. The hotel also had guest runners, so breakfast was brought forward to 7.00 so that we could all eat. So thoughtful Barry, thank you very much. Lovely quirky deco. Lots of tea & coffee in the room. "
