"Superbly located on the canal side, and directly across the road from Skipton station, and only a short walk into the centre. On site parking and with a lovely beer garden. Our canal view room was on the top floor with French windows, giving us a wonderful view of the canal.
Dining in the Rubarb restaurant was ,on the whole, enjoyable. One starter course was a disappointment but the rest went down well.
Breakfast was the usual buffet layout with hot dishes to order. Service throughout was excellent.
Definitely no qualms over staying there again."
"All aspects of the Woolly Sheep were excellent, especially the kitchen.
The only negative for us personally, was the fact our superior room was on the top floor and the hotel has no lift. We wouldn’t hesitate staying there again, but would make sure of the lower floor."
"Beautiful oldy world property which I like room was great for our needs with all the facilities you would expect.
Staff very friendly and helpful we only had breakfast which was very good with multi-options and choice.
Would definitely stay here again if in area."
"Everything was perfect, shown to our room that was spotlessly clean, well maintained and had everything we needed, the bed was very comfortable, fresh milk in a cooling jug was brought straight from the fridge for our coffee in the morning.
The staff were extremely helpful. The cooked breakfast in the morning was delicious. Everything was perfect for our stay and would definitely use again. Thank you x"
"This place is brilliant. Tucked away in the middle of no where, is this gorgeous pub and restaurant. Lovely rooms, terric staff and pub food taken to top restaurant levels. Craft beers on tap with excellent choice.
Enjoyed 3 days but need to go back soon."
"The Inn is well situated in the village of Grassington. Plenty of places to eat lunch and dinner, although most stop serving food at 8pm which unfortunately was when we arrived (but the tapas bar and restaurant was EXCELLENT! And served until 8:45). Staff were very pleasant and the garden was beautiful.
Yorkshire Dales visitor center is a short walk down the hill with lots of hiking options. Scenery is beyond fabulous."
