"Very clean, friendly hotel. Very comfy, great snacks and continental breakfast (not the yucky stuff from the 3 star chain hotels) We really enjoyed our stay and our puppies loved it there. They have a beautiful area that you can play ball or frisbee with or without your dogs. Can't say enough about this hotel. We stayed here for two days last week, one night at another hotel in town that's supposed to be the nicest (the other used to be the nicest, it no longer is. really fallen in amenities and service and we will not pay their prices w/ service that is that awful... that is NOT the Ellery though) We will definitely stay at the Ellery in the future if we need a local hotel or if our friends and family need one. They are amazing."

"The evening staff left something to be desired. The daytime staff was great. The parking is ok if you don’t plan in being out after 4pm, otherwise you may have to park off property and walk back to the hotel. The breakfast is average, although I will say they have the best coffee I have had at a hotel in quite a while. The floor in my room (one small part) felt like I might fall through but other than that the room and its amenities were fine."

"We stopped for an overnight and quick bike ride. When we arrived it was mid 90s..too hot to ride and the hotel let us check in early! Room was large and comfortable..bathroom was spacious and clean. Staff was wonderful, breakfast was tasty with lots of options. Since we were biking in the morning, we checked out and they allowed us to leave car in hotel lot until later. Very close to the Manhan RailTrail."

"Our room was clean and comfortable but we had several issues with the bathroom. Saturday morning we reported that the toilet seat was loose, the bathroom sink was not draining and that the shower doors would not stay shut. We were told it would be taken care of by the time we returned. The toilet seat was fastened but nothing else was addressed. No room service with fresh towels, coffee pod refills or tissues since there were only 2 in the box. I mentioned the remaining 2 issues at checkout this morning and was told there was no notes in the file about these things. On a positive note the beds and linens were super, the massage chair was a big hit and the location has lots of restaurants nearby. The manager and staff were extremely friendly and helpful with check in. Fresh baked cookies were a treat. Nice coffee machines in the lobby. Only limited baked goods and some fruit were offered for breakfast."
