Fab hotel in a great location for visiting Algonquin and surrounding areas. The reception staff were lovely and the room clean and had enough space, and the beds were pretty good too. Breakfast had some decent choices, best part was the waffles! Easy to walk across the street to shops and restaurants and a short drive into the town which was lovely. Would recommend.

We had beautiful lake view rooms, the dinner in The Roseau was excellent & the kayak/ canoeing on Lake Joseph was truly amazing- we will be visiting again .

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Sherwood Inn. It was our second visit. The location is perfect and the use of canoes, etc is always a hit with our children.

Excellent friendly service in very comfortable surroundings all at very reasonable cost.

A simple motel but everything was done right.

Staff very friendly. Had a very enjoyable 3 nights there. Pleasant room with plenty of parking. My special requests were catered for which is always appreciated. Handy for Algonquin Park. Would stay again if in the area.

Fair for the price, in a great location a few minutes walk from town and near a walking route, the room was clean and we had enough space, breakfast included set us up for the day, can reccomend if you're looking to stay in Huntsville.

Stayed 3 nights as part of a road trip. This hotel was fairly basic but it was clean and everything worked. The breakfast was a somewhat limited selection of cold continental style but it was satisfactory. There were only six tables for two in the breakfast area so expect to eat in your room. We had two rooms for the five of us and one of the showers was great but the other was not very hot. The staff were pleasant but we didn't really come into contact with them much. Well what a gem, after a couple of iffy hotels we were well impressed with this. Clean comfortable and polite go the full.mile staff. Would definitely stay again no hesitation.
