Pool closed for the weekend, no prior notice of this. Booked through hotels.com so had to go through them to try cancel. I was on hold for about 30 minutes to discuss with them to cancel last minute. We were traveling with a 6 year old for state wrestling. We chose this hotel because of the pool and slide. Nice location by the Sanford center. Hotel staff very nice, understanding and accommodating and gave me the number to call. Did not make it to a room but lobby appeared run down not clean and dated with half full baby bottle in the corner and a nipple to another baby bottle on the floor. An old sectional couch is the lobby furniture but it is disassembled for 2 couches and the middle piece off to the side- looked tacky. Law enforcement was there dealing with a domestic issue when we arrived and another guest came down with issues of backed up toilet.

The whole reason I chose this place was because of the pool and my kids and us staying there for a week. It was down. However, for maintenance the shower was terrible, there was hot water when you wanted cold cold water. When you wanted hot, it would randomly change, scald you 1 minute be freezing, the next, we couldn't get clean towels without attitude. From the front desk person housekeeping never once knocked and asked if we wanted our room cleaned, we were there for a week. So, it would have been nice to have the floor vacuumed and fresh sheets. We ended up washing our own towels and sheets, so we did not have to interact with the staff. Breakfast was sad. The only hot food offered was a toast or a bagel.\n Yogurt gallons of milk in the fridge and cereal. Not pleased. I will not be saying here again.

The room was great and the bed was very comfortable. The website said breakfast was included however they had cancelled the breakfast service after we had registered. We were informed in the morning as we tried to enter breakfast room. The person at the front desk informed us and other guests with as much patience as she could. Bad management as they were not there to handle the situation.

Staff was grest but first 5hey checked us into an already occupied room. New room light bulbs we burned ol, but clean and friendly staffut and toilet was plugged 🔌 and wouldn't flush. She would give us a new room if we wamted to, but she got the toilet to flush very slowly and we didn't want to move every, too late at night

The employees arguing, outside appears empty, on checkout morning we were loading car at 9am and employee was already in our room nosing around we wasn't even done loading yet. She went into another room and people were still there taking showers. Check out wasn't until 11am. Breakfast was very limited. Room was clean
