"The setting of the resort is wonderful, and the views are truly impressive. Check‑in was excellent, and most of the staff were great, especially the woman who checked us in. The food was very good overall, and my family really enjoyed the market. The pools were also very nice, and the kids loved the Fun Lab. That’s the good. Unfortunately, there were a few issues that took away from the experience. Service at the pools was inconsistent. The hallways and common areas in the building we stayed in were not cleaned and looked dirty, which was surprising because our room was spotless and our housekeeper had a great attitude. The lobby and restaurants were also very clean, so the contrast was noticeable. The biggest concern and the reason I’m not sure I would return, was something I witnessed at the Sky Pool bar. I saw the bartenders taking dirty glasses, giving them a quick rinse in a sink, and then reusing them for other guests. It was extremely off‑putting. Had I not seen that, I would definitely have come back, because the resort has so many great qualities. But that one issue really changed my overall impression."

"This is a party hotel. If you are looking for peace and quiet, go somewhere else. The people in the next room were hollering and partying at all hours of the day and night. I could also smell their marijuana. The food: Although I prefer the buffet because one can try different things, the quality of the food is not great. Furthermore, the view of "el arco" is spectacular but this time there were multiple cruise ships parked right in front of it. "

"The welcome staff and the restaurant staff and housekeeping were top notch. I was disappointed in the pool staff who brought drinks. There were may times we were trying to get food or drinks and often got walked past. The drinks were not very good. Our room had banging sounds in the air conditioning and for three days we got cold water. We brought the problems to the front desk and the response was thanks. We are aware. Overall it has good food and restaurants. Loved the Sante one the most. I liked it was a small resort so never a problem with the chairs or to get food. Would like to have more options for evening activities. "

"I don’t know Spanish, and most staff don’t speak English, so that got interesting sometimes. There is no ability to get in the ocean anywhere around here. There’s construction going on a LOT. The noise at night was out of control! Gorgeous property, places needing reservations were great but it’s the same thing daily. Buffet especially:( very windy all day every day! It’s a one and done kind of place for me for sure! "

"Pool on both areas were great, plenty room. Jose Luis at the pizza oven serves the best freshly made pizza, it outshines the buffet. Servers at the bar are awesome, Raul made sure my cup was never empty. However.. specialty food like the evening bbq left half of the people waiting in line in the scorching heat without a meal. Fortunately i got a plate but felt bad for everyone else. Some nights at the buffet, the food “ran out,” the head server said unfortunately thats all they were serving."
