"We loved our stay! All the staff were extremely friendly. One thing to be aware of is this property is about 30mins from main road (you get there on a rocky road) we had an SUV and didn’t have an issue. If you are looking for something private and intimate I highly recommend. The hotel has a cute private beach with cabanas that are nice and clean. We loved the paddle boards and snorkeling gear hotel provided (I highly recommend going snorkeling so much fish right around). Food was tasty (tho if you are staying more than 4 days you might be running out of options) and drinks were great! We would definitely return! "

"The dogs were free to stay! The grounds were great for the dogs it was guilt and quaint. Rooms were clean although they need to look behind doors for dust etc. Ocean view was really nice. The restaurant was good! Service was great! Good delicious! "

"Great time at Hotel Hondo! So thankful for the AC and quiet area where we could decompress. Super easy walk into town to many good restaurants as well as beach. "Rancho BV is so wonderful! It is one of the oldest properties in Baja! Staff is so kind and helpful — Arturo is MVP! He always had answers to any questions we had, even helped us secure a car to drive around town (his own!). The property is “tired” but very clean and well kept. The “coffee time” restaurant was super cute and delicious (we only had coffee and breakfast, but saw others dining and it looked wonderful, too). The pool and bar is literally right on the beach, so even if the ocean was too chilly to swim you could still enjoy the beach and ocean view from poolside. Location is perfect — very secluded, but only about a 4-5min drive into Los Barriles. Overall, an excellent spot to visit and relax! Thank you Rancho staff for a wonderful trip! 😊 "
