"The apartment was in a lovely location—nicely tucked away from the hustle and bustle, yet just a short walk to everything. Overall, the place was okay, but it could really use a deep clean from top to bottom. There was a faint smell of mold and cigarette smoke, and unfortunately, the strong smoke odor from the stairwell also made its way into the apartment. "Very comfortable b&b with excellent breakfasts. Aldo is very charming and helpful and gave us many suggestions on how to get around on the bus as well as excellent restaurant recommendations. The renovations to the building are well executed with old stonework and wood beam ceilings integrated into all the modern commodities. The location is excellent, close to the port for ferries to the islands as well as easy access to buses for Erice."
