Nice new hotel 3* , three years old, modern design , very clean and Japanese minimalist. Onsen on building Breakfast was ok but nothing special Room was new well kept, with kimono in room. Lot of izakaya nearby Price was excellent considering its 50km from Hagi ceramic city.

Shin-Yamaguchi is a great place away from the crowds. This hotel is across the street from the station, with several restaurants. We enjoyed several meals at Nick's Steak. I highly recommend it. APA Hotel Yamaguchi Hofu
All great except the room spray to get rid of cigarette smell not as powerful as before that I used to experience. But this seems to be throughout the outlets of APA and not just this unit.
