"The hotel is in a wonderful location in terms of walkability but the rooms are on the main road. The staff was kind and helpful when needed but not proactive - they never showed me the pool or told me about dinner options or activities for the New Year that the hotel organized. The room was mostly clean but there was food left from the previous guest in the fridge and the bathroom had mold and really needs an upgrade. The room was also only cleaned on the 2nd but not the 3rd day of my 4 days there. The bed was also way too soft (but I guess some people like that)."

Dirty bed linen and insufficient towels or water to cater for the number of booked guests. Breakfast was exceptional as were the breakfast staff. Wait staff in the pool deck were often hard to find. "Wonderful room two doors away from where Queen Elizabeth stayed. Fabulous little infinity pool and only two of us in there. Stunning view with sundowners on the terrace spoilt by terrorist monkey determined to steal something off our table. Enormous curry with enough dishes to feed at least 3 adults!"
