Nishimuraya Hotel Shogetsutei

Nishimuraya Hotel Shogetsutei

10/10 Excellent
"Absolutely too notch hotel, should be five star. You are taken care of before you even enter the premises. Reception staff most welcoming, all v organised. My superior room was incredible with an outdoor mini onsen, private and luxurious. Room huge, tatami mats, spotless and smelt amazing as did the lobby. Hotel onsen was the best one Ive been to, large indoors and outdoors also with cold plunge pool and sauna. Fabulous food in the evenings, full 11 course menu in a private room, so delicious and the breakfast was buffet style so catered to all needs. Shuttle bus operates regularly all day and free. I was so sad to leave!"

Additionally, the breakfast was amazing with a wide variety of healthy and hearty foods to start the day. The staff was also EXTREMELY helpful and kind as we navigated a new city and shipped our bags. I would recommend this hotel to EVERYONE who visits Tottori!"

10/10 Excellent
"Second stay at this ryokan after a perfect stay last year. Location is perfect - on the willow-lined river street close to onsens. Quiet, comfortable rooms. Public and private onsen on site, excellent dinner served at the restaurant. Air conditioning wasnโ€™t cooling the room completely, but staff were accommodating with extra fans. Thank you Kaki for another wonderful stay."

Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Premium Kinosaki

Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Premium Kinosaki

8/10 Good
"A good spot to stay in Kinosaki. The room itself was pretty outdated with an old tv - I really enjoy when hotel TV's have casting capabilities which this one did not. But the service and meals service was excellent, it's a self-serve buffet style dining which is great if you're a slightly fussy eater like myself. A little disappointed that the room view was blocked by netting for maintenance, which Inwas advised prior to arrival but after booking. I think some form of discount would have been nice for the inconvenience considering I had booked a river view room."
