"Beautiful property. Rooms were spacious and clean. Staff was extremely gracious and helpful and most spoke okay English. Food was atrociously expensive (we ordered half a sandwich and fries (about 15), and a cup of coffee (no refills) and it came to about $40 USD. Breakfast buffet was 5,000 yen. A cup of coffee was 1,500 yen, or about 7 USD."

"Built in apps for streaming, visa capable laundry, multipurpose bath/shower (rain head), cafe was excellent with an onsite bakery. English speaking staff which was unusual during our trip. View was meh, but being at the back of the hotel helped as the hotel is on a main road. Breakfast and dinner were also very tasting and filling. Italian cuisine and open kitchen. Reasonable prices. A great boutique hotel away from the centre."

"First time staying and would stay again!! Everything felt lux and clean, all the staff were so nice and very helpfull. Most if not all spoke pretty good English but even so they were all very patient. We got the room with a built in laundry machine and it was amazing very spacious n handy. Really would recommend"

"Very clean and large by Japan standards. We feel the room was as big or bigger than American rooms. Staff was courteous and polite. Super close to the train station and shopping is also minutes away. The room has been modernized so there are many electrical outlets and usb ports. Highly recommended"

"Travelled with my wife for the first time to Japan; for the price, we were impressed. Room felt a little crammed at times but was manageable. Staff was extremely friendly and ensured we were comfortable. Room had air conditioning and the bed/pillows were more comfortable than my own. Close to Kyoto Station which saved us time and energy which you would need to travel any places you planned to visit/hike. Would stay here again."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel Kyoto Premier. The room was very comfortable and beautiful, and the view over the river was absolutely awesome. Kyoto is definitely a wonderful city, and staying here made our visit even more enjoyable. The staff at the front desk were also very welcoming, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. The location is excellent for exploring Kyoto, and overall we had a great experience. We would definitely stay here again!"
