Shefford Woodlands Trip

I stayed in this hotel for the week, and it was my first time in London, and I was also celebrating my birthday. Even though the hotel was not able to accommodate or upgrade my room, they surprised me with a sweet gift of a bottle of wine and sweets in my room with a Happy Birthday sign. I arrived early, and they were able to keep my luggage on hold while I roamed around the centre of London, and even after I departed, they kept an eye on my suitcase. The restaurant downstairs is really nice, and a pizza place is next door. The services and the club members' lounge were great, with a coffee machine that could make lattes and Starbucks-like drinks. The room was great for a solo or a couple; the washrooms are small, but it's perfect for those who are out all day in town and only come to their room to settle for the night or take a break from walking. Perfect for all parts of central London and close to two tube stations. Room service was great, daily cleaning, and they have a fridge, kettle, and coffee machine. Overall, I will be staying here again the next time I come to London.

Nice hotel in a great location (very center of London). Near two tube stations, plus the Uber Boats, and walking distance to a ton of sights. Great, helpful staff. The rooms were nice.

I had a truly fabulous stay at St. James Court, A Taj Hotel and felt genuinely treated like a queen from start to finish. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and consistently went above and beyond to make my stay special. The location is prime. It is central, convenient, and perfect for exploring London, yet still feels peaceful and tucked away. My room was clean, modern, and spacious, offering a wonderful place to relax after a day out. Dining was a highlight of my stay. The Kona Midsummer Night’s Dream Afternoon Tea was enchanting, creative, and beautifully presented, with plenty of thoughtful vegetarian options. Lunch at House of Ming was equally impressive, innovative, flavorful, and a real treat. As a vegetarian, I truly appreciated the variety and creativity across the menus. The courtyard deserves special mention. It is absolutely stunning and feels like something out of a dream. A rare and beautiful oasis in the heart of the city. I can’t wait to return and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for exceptional service, beautiful surroundings, and a truly memorable London stay.
