"Perfectly located hotel for all my needs in the City.
Being able to leave my luggage before checking in, and, after checking out was a great bonus, the staff being extremely helpful with everything.
Whole hotel was clean, and tidy.
Stay again? If visiting Canterbury, yes."
"Have stayed before and a nice hotel. Was very glad of the a/c on this occasion. Was World Cup on and asked to switch one of to to tonight’s game to no avail despite barley a sole in bar and no one watching either to. Was surprised not be advised I was being put in a disability room with chair rather than bath or standing shower"
"Despite there not being a modern appeal, the hotel was perfect and very comfortable.
Only downside was the price of food at the bar was more expensive than other hotels."
"The hotel is set in beautiful surroundings. I was lucky to receive a room which overlooked the lake. Although there was no balcony, I was able to open the window & hear the noise of the ducks and water rippling.
Good selection of food in the bar & variety of seating with couple of tvs to watch the football.
Rooms were a bit dated but the beds were comfortable & there was tea & coffee making facilities. The main reason I stated “dated” was the large wash basin looked like it was from the 70s & shower over the bath (one of my major bug bears. How many people want a bath in a hotel when they are travelling or only staying a night or two).
Overall, value for money & taking into account the setting, I would certainly stay again."
