"Just remember you have to pay 50 dollars at check in for deposit and don't get it back right away after check out and 12 dollars for taxes at the checked in as well. And they don't inform you that you have to wait any where from 1 day to 35 days for refund of deposit"
"BEWARE: this location does NOT offer a free continental breakfast. They charge $12/per person. I am highly disappointed my CHILDREN were charged this rate to eat a breakfast that is served at any other hotel as a continental. No way are eggs worth this much. Crazy. When I inquired about it stating free continental breakfast was offered on the Sonesta website, the lady waived her hand and said "Well" and shrugged her shoulders. You have to request your room be cleaned. This doesn't automatically happen. And on the grounds people don't pick up their dog poop. So watch where you step. We will not be staying at another Sonesta. The $12 generic breakfast charges were enough to make me not come back. Ridiculous."
"Fries left on carpet from previous vistor. Pool was not open and and super green. Someone was smoking in a room and thats all we could smell all night. Staff didnt care both times mentioned it."
"We enjoy Hampton Inn and it is a great, consistent, hotel that we stay in often when traveling for business. This hotel was the same. Good services, breakfast and a good bed to sleep in."

"We will probably not re book this property. The building and location are great and walking distance easily to grab streetcar- that part was awesome. We were never greeted at anytime entering or leaving building. —staff acted like they didn’t want to be there. Thank yous were said but only at check out. The place was not busy- but getting ready for FIFA crowds. No one we asked- valet and front desk could tell us where the streetcar station was…? It’s literally around the corner. We didn’t get housekeeping as she came at 4ish and we had just returned for the day to get ready for dinner plans. . She was dismissive and didn’t offer any towels or anything. We just stated that we had just returned. Floor/ carpet was wet in areas at check in. Everything else was clean and nice. Requested a fan a couple of times. We did receive it- but front desk seemed annoyed for the request. I love KC and we were on a staycation. I was disappointed that this would be the energy for all the excitement about to happen around town. We had a great time- but the staff definitely were not interested in our stay:(."
