"The room was very clean, but I would have liked a mini fridge to but my milk, water cool.
Also a nice touch would be tea/coffe maker with powdered milk and sugar."
"I stayed two nights at Dormir in Wyndham, Maine, and it was a wonderful experience. Cozy yet modern, with spotless rooms, a very comfortable bed, and thoughtful touches like quality linens and toiletries that made the stay feel special. The staff were friendly and helpful, offering great local recommendations while keeping the check-in and overall service smooth and easy. I loved the boutique-style atmosphere, reliable Wi-Fi, and convenient parking, and the location was perfect; peaceful but still close to restaurants, attractions, and nature. Overall, Dormir struck a great balance of comfort, style, and convenience, and I’d definitely return for a longer stay."
"The absolute star if the show here is the inn owner Kathy! She is very knowledgeable about the area and even pointed out a great yarn shop down the road as she knew I was a knitter. The breakfasts were all unique, delicious and cooked to order each day with lots of fresh herbs. The communal areas were relaxing and practical with fridge, soft drinks, coffee/tea, ice and seemingly anything else you might need available 24/7.
We were very anxious about being late for check-in by about 20 minutes, and whilst I'd certainly try and avoid checking in after about 5:30pm as there is no entry to the inn, we were very lucky that the host was there to meet us.
Our room was on the ground floor and it was very clean and comfortable with plenty of clothes storage. The bathroom was on the smaller side, but it was clean and had everything you could need. The shower was a reasonable size, with good water pressure and lots of hot water. The air-conditioning throughout was also very effective on the steamy hot 3 days we stayed at the inn.
There are restuarants within walking distance of the inn and a few basic shops. However, for us the high-end 24 hour laundry was an awesome convenience at the end of a long trip.
This spot is also a good base to travel into Portland, as well as up and down the coast of Maine."
