"Due to a shortage of housekeeping staff we couldn’t get into our room until 6pm! The floor in our room was gritty due to sand being brought into the room. The room obviously hadn’t been swept for some time and the shower tray wasn’t particularly clean. Location of hotel was very good, right on the beach. The beach was great, white powdery sand. We sat on the beach and didn’t use the pool as there was loud music blearing out there. There were lots of kids running around. Hotels.com website says that beach sun loungers and umbrellas are complimentary, but in fact this is incorrect as you had to pay $55 per day!"

"The condition of the hotel was disappointing. Upon arriving, the chairs on the front porch were very soiled and in poor condition and the desk clerk was very unfriendly and unhelpful. All furniture needs to be repaired or replaced. The carpets on each floor were extremely dirty and need replacing. . The positive is the buffet breakfast which was good or could be cooked to order. Other employees were very nice. The hotel is in a good location with restaurants close by and the very nice beach is across the street. If this hotel could be refurbished, it would be very nice but needs help."

"If your balcony is atleast floor 4 there is no obstruction. Ours was great."

"The property was dirty. While my room looked okay at a glance the floors were dirty, there was trash & a dead bug by the headboard of the bed. The carpet, stairwells and entryway were dirty. Elevators were not cleaned regularly and always nasty—just an air of disregard for the property in general. The staff were very nice in general."

"I think we were a little in between seasons w/ construction & landscaping all being done where we stayed. Pool amenities weren’t open yet (snack bar)… but that’s ok. Would have been nice to have pool towels👍"

"Didn’t try the breakfast, room was clean but our shower curtain needed changed. We tried to do laundry the night before checking out but the staff didn’t have change for the machines and it defeated the purpose of being a convenience to run out to a gas station at night to get change to make sure we had clean laundry before heading home. Most places have card readers or change machines for laundry. Other than that, the hotel smelled nice and the staff was friendly. "
