"Great Welcome, communication, and help. The location and means of transportation should have been included. I suggest the host verify all electrical equipment, as some were not working. Besides, the place was good, spacious and reasonably priced for the country's cost of living. "

"Great hotel in North of Mahe, visited 3 times. Nice rooms and great pool area with a beautiful beach infornt, close to other restaurants.
Downside is the dinner buffe, they should replace it with a la cart instead, buffe is expencive and almost no one goes to it."
"Extremely basic accommodations, the room needed an overhaul, lights, fixtures, tv, electric outlets, clean up at the bathroom, new toilet water bowl, a paint job, new door and more. It was actually a lot worse than a basic motel 6. Beach access was excellent though. Personel (when there) very very nice and friendly."
"We really enjoyed our stay at this cozy and modern butique hotel. Rooms are clean, beds and linens were awesome, all family had a wonderfull night sleep. Location is close to several dining places that are a short distance away. Place has spacious parking with ability to charge electric cars. Staff very accommodating with all our requests including taxi bookings, etc."

"From the Garden View Room you have quick access to the pool and beach.
The overall service staff though were very nice, always trying to help and very engaging without being too much.
The hotel is located right at an amazing beach with sunset view and a little touristy shopping and food area right at the beach."
"highly recommend this property. 2 bedrooms apartment very nice, with views of the mountains and sea. 2 grocery stores within 1 min walk. Fishermen and fresh fruits and vegetables within 2 mins drive. City center Victoria 20 mins drive, Beau Vallon beach 20 mins drive.
We rented a car from the airport.
cleaning lady very nice and friendly. came every other day to clean the apartment fully. she was always present on site to ask if we needed anything and was always helping us.
We arrived late at night, around 10 pm and someone was around to check us in.
On site parking and security guy present all night long. "
"Arrived at night, but when I stepped out of my room in the morning, I had the most gorgeous view of the island, as this property sits at the top of a hill. There is an open-air breakfast area and sitting area (right outside the bedrooms) where you can gaze at the view for as long as you like."

Mer Rivière Self Catering: Great Value, Ideal Location
Mer Rivière offers fantastic value for a self-catering stay in Beau Vallon. The location is a major plus – just a quick stroll to the beautiful beach, restaurants, and shops.
The apartments are well-equipped with everything you need, including air-con bedrooms and a full kitchen, which is a real bonus. We appreciated having a washing machine too. The shared pool is on the smaller side but a welcome dip, especially with the shaded area.
The staff were genuinely lovely and helpful, making us feel right at home. While not beachfront, the short walk is easy, and the peaceful atmosphere, with the gentle sound of the nearby river, was a nice touch.
If you're looking for a comfortable, well-located, and affordable base for your Beau Vallon holiday, Mer Rivière is definitely worth considering. We had a great stay and would happily return.

"Property was fantastic with huge patio and views of the ocean, islands and windmills. Main bedroom has A/C and living room/kitchen has big fan. Steep hill to walk from main road but very happy at the main road junction was a good-size supermarket. With public bus service ending every day at 7 pm, it's good to have a supermarket there to buy groceries to cook dinner in the apartment. Owners Theodore and Lorna were extremely nice and charming."
