Spend at least a couple of days in the Historical Center to discover the most emblematic and beautiful places of the city.

Explore the chambers and salons of Seville Town Hall and appreciate the majesty of the baroque architecture of Salvador Church on Salvador Plaza.

For excellent views of Seville’s old Jewish quarter, known as Santa Cruz, Climb the steps of the Giralda bell tower. The 12th-century bell tower is attached to the Cathedral of Seville, a vast gothic wonder with 80 chapels.

Among the many other highlights of a visit to the old quarter is the Casa de Murillo. This museum is dedicated to the 17th-century baroque painter Bartolomé Esteban Murillo and is housed in the mansion where he once lived.
Reach Seville’s historical center by bus, taxi, tram, metro or car. Street parking is limited at most times of the year so if you are driving, it’s easiest to pay for parking in garages inside and outside of the old quarter. You can easily travel around the Historical Center on foot as many of the attractions are within proximity of each other.
