Serra da Estrela Hotels with Hot Tubs

Fantastic location, friendly staff, great food. If the Serenity concept is to work, the management has to decide: either an adults-only hotel or a separate playground for children. This needs to be improved, as the children otherwise are always loud with everyone.

Beautiful surroundings and very friendly staff

Excellent hotel in Covilhã, we visit Covilhã every couple of months for medical reasons, there are two hotels that we use, both with pools, depending upon the price at the time. This time it was Donna Marie. Excellent as always, everything works, is clean, and relaxing. The pool area is incredible, a good sized indoor pool, poolside recliners, jacuzzi and shower. The outdoor area is really cool Lots of recliners and squishy chairs & sofas with parasols ☺️ Very good breakfast buffet, the fried...

Adoramos o hotel. Limpo, boas instalações, staff muito simpático. Comida e bebida tudo bem confecionado. A repetir. A piscina exterior soube muito bem com os 40 graus sentidos nesse fim de semana.

Very cosy room, with super friendly staff

Absolutely beautiful hotel - room was very impressive - large, clean and very comfortable. Pool was fantastic as were the staff. Highly recommended.

The hotel was stunning, a modern mountain vibe. The staff were extremely friendly and kind. The rooms were beautiful and spacious. The pools are spectacular, we had seen a photo of these and that was why we visited. We were not disappointed, cave like steam rooms and saunas, multiple pools. The entire experience was extremely enjoyable and we will go back. I should also mention the bar food was to a very high standard, reasonable prices and large portions.

Room was clean and spacious. Amenities were excellent. Being a Tesla Supercharger location helped a lot in booking this reservation. Also breakfast was quite good with local quality products.

Location and size of Hotel fantastic for centre of Coimbra. Walking in the gardens you wouldn't believe you were so close to the city centre. Staff were excellent and very attentive.

All staff were amazing from our check in to bar service to dinner service. I had a massage which I would highly rate. Otavio and Bruno really stood out for us and went the extra mile. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, very comfortable room and lots of lovely hotel facilities. We will definitely stay there again.

El sitio que se encuentra ubicado es muy agradable para mi gusto por el entorno natural

This is an extraordinary place just like the photo. I was greeted with sparkling wine and cake and offered the whole bottle the following day. It is in a very challenging place in old Coimbra so you need to be reasonably fit although another lovely lady walking her dog helped me out the next night when i was lost

This hotel was just amazing. From the building itself, to the rooms, to the staff, the pool and especially the food in the restaurant. Definitely the highlight of our motorcycle trip. Safe off-road parking too which was a plus. Previous reviewers complained about the road up to the hotel (absolutely fine - just a normal road) and the wi-fi (worked perfectly plus good 4G signal). I would be hard put to find anything to complain about this stunning oasis. All the staff were perfectly polite and...

A really nice vibe, friendly and helpful staff.

Nice and friendly staff. Nice breakfast.

Great location on river but close to city centre. Easy to find, large underground car park.Rooms well equipped and comfortable, choose one with a pool view. Staff excellent. Didn’t use restaurant as lots of good places nearby.
