"The property felt almost abandoned. No one at reception at any moment of our stay, the housekeeping staff let us in. No restaurant, no help to book airport transfer as advertised on Hotels.com. Nipah beach is lovely, but this hotel is not as advertised."

"Very hapy with my one night stay at New Taman Sari Homestay ... Mo and family, staff all made me welcome. Lovely breakfast omelette in the morning very tasty.
Upgrade to hot water and air conditioner in room 👌
Some may think room very basic. Walking distance to Ferry terminal 👍 Will stay again next time"

"Indeed a wonderful stay, very helpful staff and a nice bungalow for me and my daughter and our 4 day visit to Gili Air. Close to the beach, bike-rental in the front shop and free snorkeling gear available at the reception desk.
Highly recommended for a stay in the Gilis "

"Pool area is excellent. Staff are very friendly. All staff spoke enough English to accommodate visitors.
Breakfast was a bit underwhelming, but it was convenient and set in a nice open-air dining room. "

"This place is incredible! We loved it so much that we booked to stay again a few days later.
The place is beautiful and so comfortable and relaxing. The location is quiet but just a 5 minute walk from the good snorkelling beach and lots of restaurants and bars.
The staff here are incredible - so welcoming, helpful and fun to be around. They do everything that they can to make your stay more comfortable and enjoyable. Thank you Adi and Maddi!

"Brilliant place. The guys running it are super friendly and helpful, full of recommendations without being pushy - nothing seems too much trouble. It’s a good location, far enough from the main strip to be quiet and local feeing but central enough to everywhere to get around the island easily. Would definitely recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"The rooms were clean and well laid out. The pool was great and nicely set back from the main road (unlike many other resorts on the island) . The staff were great and prices were very reasonable. Excellent experience overall!"

"Our 3rd visit to Qunci Villas. Always relaxing atmosphere with excellent and friendly staff. Great sea views and with 3 large pools always a swim without a crowd"
"We stayed one night in an Ocean Premier Room after spotting the hotel and deciding to book because it looked beautiful.
The property is stunning. The architecture, cliffside setting, and ocean views are incredible — one of the most visually impressive resorts we’ve seen in Lombok.
The staff were kind, however receiving service was difficult. Even simple requests like ordering a drink felt challenging, which made parts of the stay uncomfortable. Communication and overall hospitality flow felt lacking for a resort of this standard.
A beautiful property with incredible views, but the service needs refinement to match the setting."
"Beautiful location on the water. Room were nice size & clean with balconies with ocean views. Rooms with private pool available or use the shared pool. There was no by there when I was there in mid January but it is wet season & likely to rain. Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch & dinner and is very convenient as there is not much around hotel."
"Unless you pay for the expensive package, you need to be very mobile. All bathrooms in the reasonable rate category come with bathtubs only. There are no grab bars or anything for support. The walls have signs of humidity decay. The pool meant for everyone's use is very small considering. We paid to upgrade because of this. The website says the beach is close. Its not. Its a 35 minute walk. We paid for an all inclusive package. The kitchen had major issues. They tried hard but left things lacking. Also, be ready for a wakeup at 4 am or so bc this hotel seems to be right next to a speaker for the call to prayers. The spa is very nice. The beds are outrageously hard. We used the cushions from the patio furniture to help as the hotel had no way to fix this issue. "
"No Gymnasium or exercise facility.
No mini bar in the room.
No coffee pod machine in the room, not even a plunger and they refused to supply either.
The pool at the Pool villas consistently carried leaf litter.
Adding insult to injury, they have deliberately crippled WiFi calling on their Internet connection. When asked, they gave no reason for this. I emailed them about this and eight days later am still awaiting a response. I used the WiFi in the cafes in town to make WiFi calls. No other establishment I have stayed at in the last six months (about five) did this.
The establishment is old and tired: I get the impression they're just waiting for an opportunity to knock it down and rebuild.
5 star? They're kidding.
Maybe 25 years ago. Not now. The world has moved on and expectations have risen."
