"Lovely property on the outskirts of town. Full of character and warmth. Evening dinner well worth it and agreat experience. All staff wonderfully friendly and attentive."

"Great place, clean and comfortable, nice bathroom. Staff were superb, couldn't have been better. Lovely breakfast. Bar was very welcome with good beers and wines, didn't try the cocktails. They dont have a restaurant as such ( it was Sunday so everything closed) but they will provide/heat pre-prepared food and I had a super seafood soup and bread. Looks a nice restaurant next door maybe open on weekdays?? Such a pleasant stay we would go out of our way on our next trip to stay there again. Thank you"

"A beautiful and very quiet calm place to stay. The hosts were extremely helpful and the recommendations for local places to visit were most welcome. The room was brilliantly executed (the Pigeonnerie) and the breakfast excellent."

"Adjoint family room gave us some extra space. The staff was friendly, though the check in time was given as 2pm while the reception was only occupied from 4pm."

"Great price and a lovely and helpful proprietor. To the people giving this hotel a bad review: if you want luxury, pay for it. There are no stairs and it's a three story building - this is publicised, so why complain? It's only a 10 minute walk to the town centre. The place is quirky and dated but that is it's charm. Highly recommend. Will be returning."

"The owners could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Our room (thankfully air-conditioned given the 40 degree heat!) was amazing, with wonderfully comfortable bed and great shower. Sumptuous breakfast. Bellême is a fascinating little town. We shall look forward to returning!"
