"The room is clean, breakfast is good. Not so far from the city center."

"The room itself was very small (I stayed in the smallest type of room) but serviceable. No desk, closet or wardrobe to speak of, but there were a few hangers to hang some clothes. The shower was small and a bit awkward, but I made do. The shower gel and body lotion smelled amazing. I got exactly one teabag, which was caffeine-free, and absolutely delicious. Two flat pillows. The nightstand was entirely taken up by some sort of amplifier? I put it on the floor to make more space. The view from my room of the town and surrounding mountains was incredible. The pool was an added bonus and was relatively warm; I enjoyed swimming laps on a crisp 9C morning. Service was attentive and polite, but not particularly friendly. Breakfast was not included and ridiculously expensive, which was an unfortunate surprise. Luckily there are several delicious bakeries within a five-minute walk which offered very satisfying breakfasts for half the price. The history of the hotel is charming. "

The itinerary of daily events was a really nice touch and the dessert buffet (Fridays) and banquet dinners (Sundays) were very good. One of the very best hotel stays I have had."
