We stayed a total of 3 nights in Bella Hotel. We had a quiet room at the back of the block and had good night's sleep. One evening late our son went out for a walk and saw the Northern lights very clearly, even in the street with light pollution etc. We thought the room was good value, and the best part was the breakfast which was included! There is a bakery almost next door to the hotel where we collected it every morning. It consisted of one large croissant and one large whole grain bun per...

All the staff were Great answers all our questions. Our Hotel room was a nice size & clean.Breakfast was fine wished the Orange Juice would have been freshly squeezed rather than out of a machine. We went on a few Trips that were Fantastic like the Flyover theatre & The Perlan Museum that we both Enjoyed. Iceland is an expensive place to visit. Eating out was pricey The Taxis were very Expensive

The hotel certainly lives up to its name,a very impressive lobby. The reception staff were very efficient and friendly, our room was on the 11th floor and the view of the city night and day was spectacular. The breakfast was very extensive and very good,as was the bar. When i go back I will be staying at The Grand.

The hotel’s location was excellent and it had an elegant feel to it! Staff were very friendly and also welcoming too. Our room was upgraded on arrival also. I’d definitely recommend staying here to other travellers!

Immaculately presented and well located city centre hotel. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby offering both comfort food and more traditional Icelandic cuisine. Breakfast buffet was amply sized which set us up nicely for our day trips. Room was comfortable and suitably warm. Housekeeping always ensured it was well presented with what seemed like a million cushions each time we returned in the evening. Although we didn’t drink there, the bar looked cosy, and had a warming fire each time we...

We stayed here Monday to Friday and it was lovely, very clean and comfortable. It had a little kitchen with a fridge, toaster and hob which was amazing as food in Iceland is expensive! It was very central and right next to bus stop 13 one of the main pick up stops for trips - would recommend.

A perfectly positioned hotel for exploring all that Reykjavik has to offer. Very helpful staff who were always happy to see you and assist with any enquiries.
Breakfast was brilliant and a great start to each day 😀

Nice, modern, well appointed hotel in a historical building at the Northern end of central Reykjavik (close to the Harpa concert hall, a few minutes walk from Lækjargata, where one of the Flybus shuttles stops). Much of Reykjavik is easily walkable from this location. Comfortable rooms with good amenities. Pleasant and reassuringly expensive restaurant (though not terribly expensive for Reykjavik and there are somewhat more cost effective options within a few minutes walk if needed). The...

The apartment exceeded our expectation in every aspect. The kitchens was very well equipped and all the amenities functioned well. The apartment was spacious enough for 2 persons with big luggage, and the décor was simple and modern. Our bed was comfortable, and the space was well cleaned and heated. The shower was hot, with good water pressure. Wifi was fast and free. We slept very well at night, as it was very quiet, and the black-out curtains worked great.

Really lovely apartment in a superb central location. The bed was extremely comfortable. Having a dishwasher and a washing machine was an added bonus. We were 2 adults and 2 teens and a one bed apartment was pretty tight, so would recommend going for a bigger apartment if staying more than a few nights but the location, facilities and great service made up for the squeeze! Good value for money.
