"Great apartment with separate bedroom and much bigger than usual Japanese hotels. Beds comfortable, clean bed linen and towels, lots of hot water and pristine bathroom.
Minimal kitchen facilities but good for breakfasts and those wanting to eat out. Landlord accessible and a great communicator. Exceptional value for money. "
"The location is excellent by being close to trains, buses, and department stores. The room was tiny but clean. There was no safe to keep your valuables, or a microwave in the room. It was a bit odd to heat up your food in another floor and take it to your room using an elevator. The room cannot be used between 10am and 3pm if you want it to be cleaned, which was a major inconvenience forme."
"Helpful and friendly staff. The Onsen is very nice especially the outside area that you can hire. The beds were comfortable. Not a lot of space for storage of clothes and luggage in the rooms. The Japanese restaurant in the spa was good and affordable. The Chinese restaurant was good food. The hotel and rooms are dated and need a
Refresh. Nice views of the surrounding landscape. 5 min drive to a town with supermarkets and restaurants."
"Very limited walking accesses to eating spots, even no varieties. In the room, well cleaned, quiet, nice bed,
but very disappointed at the much expecting relaxing time
in the public bath. It was not warm enough. "
"Was in town briefly for a wedding. The staff were incredibly hospitable and helpful. The room was satisfactory, though small by North American standards.
Everything was okay - nothing stood out as bad. The staff were absolutely amazing though!"
