Fabulous hotel, very good links to Bern

The hotel is right by the station which is very handy for a multi centre holiday and it is very central for everything you may want to do in Bern. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The roof terrace is beautiful and the rooms are really well equipped really comfy beds and brilliant showers. We didn’t eat at the restaurant so can’t comment on that, breakfast was 40 chf per head which seemed a lot so we used local cafes instead. Just stunning to stay in an actual castle overlooking a stunning view. We felt like we really were in a Disney movie. The weather was stunning and we just loved it. Staff were friendly and happy to help. Only down side was the room was quite small. However it had everything we could need.

Clean room, great pkace, good breakfast

Great location for exploring the city on foot. Instructions for checking in and out including all information needed for our stay were super clear and helpful. Facilities at the hotel were also great. The room itself was compact but incredibly clean and had everything one would need for a comfortable stay.

The welcome was lovely, the gentleman on reception was friendly and even took time to tell us where we should visit in the city, and a walking route that offers the most amazing views. The room was lovely and had everything we could want for our one night stay. The balcony off the room was lovely and a great place to sit to enjoy a cup of coffee.

Beautiful room with a fantastic view, just what we needed. The room has everything already thought of for you, down to the little details. And only 13 minutes away on the tram from the centre, which is free for those staying, so overall ideal and exceeded expectations.

The hotel is located in the city centre and within easy walk of the main railway station. The room was well equipped and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was plentiful. I also liked the coffee and tea station on the 4th floor where you could make free coffees and teas. The staff were very helpful and professional. The only very minor comment I would make is that the hand towels in the bathroom were very small.

Our second visit to this wonderful hotel in the most probably the best location in the area. Stunning.
