"One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. The photos do not do justice to the exquisite furnishings and architecture. We had booked a Classic room which was beautiful - stained glass windows overlooking an internal plant filled courtyard. We were then offered an upgrade for our second night and found ourselves with a stunning rooftop suite with private terrace. We ate in the hotel restaurant for both evenings and food was delicious. Breakfasts were also memorable. Staff were wonderful and we were very sad to leave. So many thoughtful touches to make for a perfect visit. We will return! Thank you. "

"The room and bathroom did not look like the pictures at all, but the amazing staff made up for that. They were so kind, helpful, and friendly. They made sure we knew where we were going, set up taxis for us, and made sure we had everything we needed. The breakfast was also delicious and the best one we had in Morocco. "

"Breakfast was very well prepared and delicious. Mehdi was attentive and helpful and went above and beyond. Unfortunately, the riad itself left little to be desired and felt dated, dark and lacked cleanliness. Our ground floor room didn’t feel safe with a secure door as it felt loose in its place, and furthermore, the lock broke (however Mehdi promptly provided a replacement. "

"we were nervous when we first arrived because we had to travel thru the medina to get to the Riad...the roads were like alleys-dark, spooky..like going thru a maze...google maps were not accurate..however, once we found it and came inside, Alassala was fabulous, the staff was excellent, the food was good, the rooms were fabulous, one staff member "Ali" went out of his way to help us with suggestions of where to go and how to get there"

"The Riad is beautiful, traditional. The staff (Hassan and others) were extremely attentive. They even put together a care package for us since we needed to leave early in the morning. This is a quiet Riad in a residential part of the Medina but very close to everything the Medina offers. The food was delicious (although this is not a Riad with a proper restaurant and does not have a bar). Comfortable beds and good water pressure! Highly recommended."

"Unfortunately Ayoub couldn’t contact me so we got very lost finding the entrance to the riad. Google maps was very unhelpful. I would suggest a welcome message is sent in advance to guests asking to confirm their contact details for direction advice and arrival time etc as well as notifying guests that they need to give some notice if they want the hotel to arrange guide/transport. They definitely try hard to get everything right for you which is admirable. I would stay here again as location was perfect. "
