"I have mixed feelings about our stay here at Hyatt Vacation Club at Piñon Pointe, some positive and some negative. First off, the view is absolutely stunning. The hotel is in a nice area of town at the top of a hill. We had a wonderful view of the Red Rock mountains from our hotel patio. We also loved the in room fireplace and jacuzzi tub, which was the biggest in-room jacuzzi tub I have ever seen! The staff also left us a very nice note and a bottle of wine to welcome us for our honeymoon! It was a very kind gesture which made us happy. As for the negative aspects of our stay, there were a few. This hotel is a resort so on top of the booking fee, we had to pay a $400 resort fee upon arrival.. which is never a fun experience, even when you know it’s coming. Also, the parking situation is very complicated. Parking is free for guests but parking spots are limited and required us to park very far from our room one night and walk approximately 100 yards to our room.. which was down two very tall flights of stairs and then back up two more very tall flights of stairs. Needless to say, there is alot of walking involved at this hotel. Last complaint would be that housekeeping services are in the late afternoon instead of in the morning like most hotels. Here housekeeping arrived after 5pm.. which was somewhat awkward. Overall, I really did enjoy the stay here and would recommend this location but be cautious of the above issues."
