"I've stayed here previously. It's a shame this place isn't a functioning pub anymore. Shame to see it go down hill. That said, the room was cheap and basic which reflects the property."

"I stayed here the night before the Lakeland100 race. Apart from being on the top floor (great view-not great pre race!), it was lovely, quiet and the staff so friendly! They made everything easy, the WiFi was good, dinner was lovely as was breakfast! Thanks for a great stay, would recommend!"
