"The welcome was very friendly. We were shown to the room up 2 flights of stairs. Good sized room with double bed ensuite. Bed was so comfortable. Ensuite shower was electric which worked fine but not as much water pressure I like but that's a personal thing. Ironing board with iron came in handy on the day of the wedding. The food in the restaurant was delicious as was the Guinness!!"

No one had thought to inform us, and cancel our booking! I spent an hour on the phone speaking to various people in America, employed by Hotels.com, assuming they would be able to help, perhaps by arranging alternative accommodation. "The pub itself is a lovely warm and welcoming place, the food was great value and excellent quality. We was made to feel most welcome by the landlord, staff and the lovely locals.
