"Arrived to a nice, clean room, very spacious, stayed at the superior room and the view was nice. Although it felt very strict as there is a €150 deposit extra when you arrive, to ensure the room has no damages. The stay was okay since it was just for a day, otherwise I would’ve felt like I was walking on eggshells. Staff were helpful kind of literally right by the train station that can take you to Amsterdam Central."

"Rooms were spacious and clean. There was a scent piped through the motel which was too strong for me. I prefer no scent additives because it irritates my nose. The breakfast was good but dinner was sub par. All in all a good stay."

"I don't think I've ever written this negative of a review before. This hotel is a quirky (one might say weird) place with a retro vibe. The front desk clerk said it was a renovated reform school for boys. Each room has a different decor, is a different size, but the two we saw were just not what you expect for a hotel. My room was so small I couldn't put my suitcase on the floor. The closet was a metal pole with a drawer beneath it, but the nightstand was up against the drawer so I couldn't use it. My friend's room must have been the communal shower. Her bedroom walls were covered in old bathroom tiles and there were three doors, one to the sink, one to the shower, one to the toilet, each the size of a small closet. When we said we wouldn't stay, the desk clerk offered us "other rooms" but we found the place too depressing. Maybe others would find it fun. There were a number of families playing games in the lobby livingroom. We had paid up front for two rooms for almost a week. No refund or offer to compensate us in any way except to offer us a different room, which was likely to be just as weird (although I suppose it could've been bigger). I thought the photos on the website were completely misleading."
