"Staff was friendly, room was clean, refrigerator didn't seem to be working. There was no wash cloth called for some they took forever to bring them. was a bit disappointed the lady at the front told us Miyako was opened after we got dressed and came down to celebrate our anniversary dinner it was actually closed. Had to use the other restaurant which food was not bad but we were over dressed for the setting. Massage was not good would not recommend. We didn't do much there all our activity was off site but it was great to see my country flag 🇯🇲 among the others. But safety was key for me without a key elevator would not move and will only take you to the floor you stay."

"I had an amazing stay at the Costa Rica Marriott Hotel Hacienda Belén. The property is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and even more stunning in person. It was the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring Costa Rica. What stood out the most, though, was the people. Staff members, Jennifer and Mario, truly went out of their way to make my stay special. Their kindness, genuine care, and willingness to help didn’t go unnoticed. It’s rare to find people who are so invested in making sure guests have the best experience possible, and I was incredibly grateful for that. The room was clean and comfortable, the food was great, and the grounds were gorgeous. I found several beautiful spots on the property to enjoy. My trip was so memorable. It’s the people who turn a beautiful hotel into an unforgettable experience, and that’s exactly what happened here. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Costa Rica."

"It’s a fantastic hotel in the heart of downtown San Jose. The staff was kind and helpful. The hotel lobby is beautifully decorated in a retro style. Room was spacious and clean. The rooftop restaurant was beautiful and good was delicious. Breakfast was fairly simple and standard. The only gripe we had was regarding the linens. The bedsheets were not 100% cotton. I believe it was microfiber. I prefer my sheets to be 100% cotton. Doesn’t have to be expensive, low thread count is fine, as long as it’s not synthetic. The microfiber sheets are very hot to sleep in and despite them feeling smooth they were quite unforgiving of dry skin and feet (feels scratchy). Hotel managers, if you read this, please change your beddings and your hotel is perfect. Overall, we enjoyed our 2-day stay."

"Everything was great, but we were expecting the swim up bar to be open, which was one of the reasons we booked with yall. Cookies awesome!!! Staff at desk and restaurant/bar excellent. Ate at the restaurant the food was delicious. Is there a time of the season when the swim up bar is closed?"
